The Maury Regional Cancer Center at Columbia Mall houses the physican offices of Family Health Group Oncology as well as an Infusion Center, which treats patients with chemotherapy and other infusion therapy needs.
This spacious facility is designed to provide a calming setting for patients and family members. A stunning water feature welcomes visitors to the main lobby and a beautiful garden provides a place of tranquility. Other features include an on-site pharmacy, a large waiting area for patients and family members and an American Cancer Society Cancer Resource Center.
The Maury Regional Cancer Center at Columbia Mall is home to Family Health Group Oncology, a group of medical oncologists with more than 60 years of combined experience in treating cancer patients. These skilled physicians have been fellowship trained and are board certified. They work closely with surgeons and radiation oncologists to provide a personalized treatment plan for each patient.
Chemotherapy, or the use of chemical agents to destroy cancer cells, is frequently used to attack cancer. Depending on your case, your physicians may utilize one or more chemical agents for your specific type of cancer. After meeting with your oncologist to discuss your treatment plan, your chemotherapy can be given to you either in our Infusion Center or you may be admitted to the medical center's Oncology Unit for treatment.
When a patient's treatment plan includes radiation

Designed with the needs and desires of those we serve in mind, the Infusion Center provides a spacious and calming environment for those who need IV therapy ranging from chemotherapy to hydration.
Infusion therapy often takes several hours, so the area is designed to be comfortable and convenient for patients and their caregiver. Patients may choose to receive their treatment in a private room or in a larger treatment areas where they meet others facing similar health issues. The facility offers 36 treatment areas. Some of the treatment areas offer access to cable television and numerous windows provide natural light throughout the treatment area.
Patients and their physicians can take comfort knowing that therapy is delivered with smart pumps to ensure
precise dosage delivery and many of our medications, including chemotherapy, are
developed by our expert team of pharmacists on-site. In addition, our Infusion Clinic is backed by an accredited laboratory and is Joint Commission

Cancer Resource Center
The American Cancer Society offers a Cancer Resource Center inside the Maury Regional Cancer Center at Columbia Mall to help patients manage the many aspects of their care, including educational materials, transportation, financial and insurance concerns and finding emotional support. The center is located in the facility's main lobby.

Scheduling and Insurance
Maury Regional Medical Center accepts most commercial insurance,
Medicare and TennCare. Our goal is to assist patients in knowing their financial
obligations based on their insurance provider prior to their therapy
Services are provided with a physician’s order and may be
scheduled by calling 931.380.4044.
Infusions may take several hours, while some require a shorter
period of time. Due to the nature of the services provided, it is important that
all patients arrive in a timely manner.
