Waymon L. Hickman
The guest of honor at this year’s tournament is Waymon L. Hickman, who serves as chairman of the Maury Regional Hospital (MRH) Board of Trustees and senior chairman of the board at First Farmers and Merchants Bank. Mr. Hickman will retire in 2009 following 25 years of selfless and dedicated service to Maury Regional Hospital and 50 years with First Farmers and Merchants Bank.
Since his service on the MRH board began in 1984, he has either chaired or served on every committee of the board, making significant contributions along the way. He has done so, not only because of his commitment to MRH, but because he feels a higher calling to make our community a better place to live, recognizing that quality health care is a key contributor to a better quality of life.
