MAURY REGIONAL HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES GOLF TOURNAMENT WINNERS

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – The 2010 Tony Starks Memorial Golf Tournament was held on August 23 and raised approximately $68,500, according to Tedd Comerford, chair of the tournament. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation.

Winners of the morning round were:

First Flight, First Place: The Hart Freeland Roberts team of Martin Franks, Bill Walter and Brent Clements.

First Flight, Second Place: The Highland Corporation team of Bo Page, Seth Blanks, Bobby Page and Alex Kirkland.

Second Flight, First Place: The Synthes team of Tom Brewer, Dave Forrester, Doug Williamson and Dan Wheeler.

Second Flight, Second Place: The A-Z Office Resource team of David Heard, Jeff Tunnell and Tim Taylor.

Third Flight, First Place: The Balfour Beatty Construction team of David Travis, Chris Hogan, Kevin Hight and Zeke Maddox.

Third Flight, Second Place: The South Western Communications team of Randy Bratton, Tony Hackett, Barry Janeway and Chris Grissom.

Winners of the afternoon round were:

First Flight, First Place: The Medtronic team of Jesse Estes, Jennifer Newman, Gary Blanton and Ryan Pewett.

First Flight, Second Place: The Applied Medical team of Scott Cooper, Jason Irvin, Ron Agnew and Richard Cook.

Second Flight, First Place: The Endo/Tech team of Tim Dickey, Neil Spence, J.R. Natale, and David Barney.

Second Flight, Second Place: The Britco team of Jeremy Britt, Warren Barley, Darrell Davis, and Gabe Arnett.

Third Flight, First Place: The LabCorp team of Jeff Osborne, Jay Osborne, Mark Fletcher and Scott Alcorn.

Third Flight, Second Place: The Bard team of Jason Middleton, Chris Locke, Brian Munsie and Jason Byrnes.

Winners of the longest drive contest were Elizabeth Trinkler and Pam Pressnell in the women’s division and Brian Bethea and Mike Short in the men’s division. Closest-to-the-pin winners were Martin Franks, Randy Wilmore, Bryan Fann, Sonny Lee, John Merritt, and Bill Buckles. Winners of the putting contest were Neal Townsend and Ron Pope.

The tournament sponsors for the event were Balfour Beatty Construction and Hart Freeland Roberts; master’s sponsors were MedAssets, Morrison Healthcare, and Synthes North America; gold sponsors were MedLine, Redman-Davis Insurance, and Maury Regional Medical Center.
