MAURY REGIONAL INFERTILITY SUPPORT GROUP MEETING SCHEDULED

COLUMBIA, Tenn.— Maury Regional Medical Center will host an Infertility Support Group meeting on Thursday, April 23, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in private dining room two on the ground floor.

During this seminar, Julie Heffington, childbirth coordinator at Maury Regional Medical Center, will discuss infertility treatments, medications, nutrition, exercise, in vitro fertilization (IVF), intra-uterine insemination (IUI) and much more.

“It is estimated that infertility affects more than 10 percent of couples of reproductive age and the incidence has continued to climb during the past 10 years,” said Heffington. “In this group, we discuss the options available to those who are trying to conceive. There is also a tremendous benefit to being able to bond with others who understand the trials and challenges of infertility based on their own personal experiences.”

The infertility support group is open to any couple experiencing difficulty conceiving. For more information, call Julie Heffington at 931.490.7046.
