What is a Federally Qualified Health Center?
FQHCs are considered safety net providers that enhance the provision of primary care services to underserved urban and rural communities. As such, these organizations receive support from the federal government to assist in providing comprehensive, competent and quality primary health care services in communities with historically high uninsured populations.
