HOHENWALD, Tenn. – The Lewis Health Center will host its annual community health fair on Saturday, September 10, from 8:00 a.m. until noon. The event will be held in the Family Life Center at Blondy Church of God, located at 529 Swan Avenue in Hohenwald.

The free event will feature booths offering services and information on a variety of health and wellness topics, according to Dr. Dustin Flowers, director. Free screenings and wellness tests will include:

  • Blood pressure checks
  • Body mass index (BMI)
  • Bone density analysis
  • Lipid panel/glucose screening (must be fasting)
  • Oxygen saturation
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Skin cancer screening provided by Dr. Joel Kochanski, a specialist in radiation oncology

In addition to the informational booths and wellness screenings, children will be able to enjoy games and activities. Free food and drinks will be provided and door prizes will be awarded.
