Lewis Health Center employees offers holiday joy to community members

HOHENWALD, Tenn. – Employees and physicians at Lewis Health Center (LHC) are providing holiday cheer to those in the community this holiday season.

Staff members at LHC identified a family to assist with their Christmas food and gift purchases, according to LHC nurse manager Melissa Collie. “We conducted a similar holiday project last year, and what a blessing it was for us,” said Collie.

The family benefiting from this year’s campaign will receive clothing, toys for the children and other gifts. The presents will be delivered this week, just in time for Christmas.

“It is so rewarding for our staff members and physicians to be able to reach out to families in the community who need a helping hand during the holidays,” said LHC Director Nathan Miller. “We hope our efforts will make this Christmas brighter for a local family.”
