services as well as primary care and diagnostic services. It is designated as a critical access hospital with 25 beds (including five swing beds for skilled nursing care). Marshall Medical Center is accredited by the Joint
Commission and has more than 150 employees and a growing medical
staff.
Lewisburg and Marshall County
lie in the heart of southern Middle Tennessee, 48 miles
south of Nashville and 54 miles north of Huntsville,
Alabama. The county boasts four golf courses—Henry
Horton, Saddle Creek, Hazleburn, and the Marshall County
Rec Center's Golf Course. The beautiful rolling hills
of the county are full of horse farms and Lewisburg
is home to the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and
Exhibitors Association.
