Marshall Medical Center offers free community health fair on October 22

LEWISBURG, Tenn. – Marshall Medical Center (MMC) will host a free community health fair on Tuesday, October 22, according to CEO Phyllis Brown. The event will be held in the hospital’s main conference room from 4:30 until 6 p.m.

Dr. Srikar Reddy, a gastroenterologist on the medical staff, will present a program on colorectal cancer at 5 p.m. in the MMC Specialty Clinic. Dr. Reddy will discuss risk factors for colorectal cancer and the importance of early detection.

Information about cancer, heart disease and many other health topics will be available to those attending. Free blood pressure checks will be offered along with free blood glucose/cholesterol testing. For most accurate lab results, fasting for 8 to 12 hours is recommended.
