Marshall Medical Center provides free sports physicals to student athletes

LEWISBURG, Tenn. — More than 350 Marshall County student athletes participated in clinics offering free sports physicals at Marshall Medical Center (MMC) in recent weeks. The clinics, offered on April 25 for high school athletes and on May 3 for middle school students, were coordinated by the Physical Therapy Department at MMC.

Physicians on the MMC medical staff were joined by physical therapists, athletic trainers and nurses to conduct the free screenings for student athletes. According to MMC Physical Therapy Director Jamie Davis, 244 high school students and 122 middle school students were screened during the clinics.
