MAURY REGIONAL HOSTS OSTOMY FAIR

COLUMBIA, Tenn.—Maury Regional Hospital will host an ostomy product fair on Thursday, July 24, in the Auxiliary Conference Room. Times are 10:00 a.m. until noon and 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Representatives from Hollister, Convatec, Coloplast, United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA), and Columbia Home Medical will be present for attendees to evaluate their products and services as well as ask questions. Those who will benefit include individuals who have had an ileostomy, colostomy, or urostomy. An ostomy refers to the surgically created opening in the body for the discharge of body wastes.

The hospital also offers an Ostomy Partners Support Group that meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Maury Regional Hospital. Family members and friends of ostomy patients are also invited to attend meetings.
