PHYLLIS BROWN APPOINTED CEO AT MARSHALL MEDICAL CENTER

        

LEWISBURG, Tenn. – Phyllis Brown has been appointed chief execu­tive officer of Marshall Medical Center (MMC), ac­cording to Darlene Baxter, vice president of affiliate services. Brown has served as the chief financial of­ficer and compliance officer at MMC for the past 11 years.

Brown is a native of West Virginia and has a de­gree in Business/Finance from College of Virginia. In addition to her time at MMC, her health care career includes nine years with Humana and five years with Columbia/HCA and HealthTrust. Brown’s community involvement in Marshall County includes participating with Relay for Life and the American Heart Association.

“Phyllis is an outstanding employee and team player,” said Baxter. “She has made great contributions to Marshall Medical Center over the years and we are pleased she has accepted this position."
