MRH FAMILY EXPO EVENT TO BE HELD MAY 5 AT THE COLUMBIA MALL

COLUMBIA, Tenn.—Maury Regional Hospital will present the Southern Tennessee Family Expo at the Columbia Mall on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Parents and kids of all ages are encouraged to attend this free, annual event.

The expo will feature entertainment such as The Animal Band and Grammy award-winning children’s songwriter and performer, Dennis Scott. The Animal Band, which has toured throughout North America, uses audience participation, colorful costumes and unique stage props as a part of its performance. Today, thousands of educators use The Animal Band’s music in their classrooms and in school skits.

Main Stage Schedule:

10:00 a.m. – Grammy award-winner, Dennis Scott

10:45 a.m. – The Animal Band

11:45 a.m. – Parkers Original Entertainment

12:30 p.m. – Joel Reese, The Singing Cowboy

1:30 p.m. – The Animal Band

In addition to the live entertainment, there will be vendors offering information on parenting, health and wellness, as well as free giveaways. Expo visitors will also enjoy interactive booths and fun children’s activities such as inflatable jumps. Children’s safety activities include car seat safety checks and children’s fingerprinting.
