MAURY REGIONAL HOSPITAL PROVIDES GIFTS TO MAURY COUNTY CHILDREN
Columbia, TN – Maury Regional Hospital has worked to make the holidays a little brighter for children across the county, according to Director of Community Relations Cindy Fox. Hospital employees and volunteers provided gifts to 349 needy Maury County children from 12 elementary schools this year.
“This is the eighth year that we have worked with Maury County Schools to identify children in need. The response from our employees and volunteers to make the holidays a memorable occasion for these children was overwhelming,” said Fox.
Gift tags were created with the children’s names, ages and sizes and placed on Christmas trees at the hospital. Gifts were collected and delivered to the children on December 13, with the assistance of Maury Regional Home Services and the Materials Management Department.
