MARSHALL MEDICAL CENTER APPOINTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS

        

LEWISBURG, Tenn. – The Marshall Medical Center Board of Trustees recently announced the appointment of Dean Delk and Dr. Ed Shackelford to serve three-year terms on the board.

          

Dean Delk, Chapel Hill Elementary School principal, has resided in Marshall County for more than 22 years. He is a member of the Chapel Hill Lions Club and a retired member for the National Guard Association. Delk received a bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. He later earned a master’s degree in education at South Carolina State College, and an educational specialist degree from The Citadel.

Dr. Ed Shackelford, family medicine physician, has been practicing medicine at the Family Health Group in Lewisburg for more than three years. Dr. Shackelford received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, and a medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Shackelford also completed a residency at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa Family Practice.
