WAYNE MEDICAL CENTER HOSTS FREE HEALTH FAIR
WAYNESBORO, Tenn. — Wayne Medical Center (WMC) will host a community health fair on Saturday, November 10 at the National Guard Armory, located at 106 Industrial Drive, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All community members are encouraged to attend this free event.
The health fair will feature free health screenings, health and wellness information, kids activities, free food and drink, and door prizes. Screenings will include cholesterol and glucose screening (participants must be fasting), blood pressure checks, bone density testing, eye exam, hearing screening, nutrition body mass index (BMI), oxygen saturation, and pulmonary function testing.
Nearly $1,700 worth of prizes will be given away at the event, including a prostate exam, mammogram, fitness center membership, electrocardiographs and a three-month supply of Chantix for smoking cessation (contingent on prescription).
