MAURY REGIONAL PRESENTS FREE SINUS SURGERY SEMINAR

COLUMBIA, Tenn.— Maury Regional Medical Center will be hosting a free seminar presented by Dr. Ryan Duncan on advances in sinus surgery. The program will be held on Thursday, May 21, at 6:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary Conference Room at Maury Regional Medical Center.

More than 37 million Americans suffer from at least one episode of acute sinusitis each year. For those with chronic sinus pain and pressure, treating this condition has become much more advanced with options that are less invasive with minimal discomfort.

Dr. Ryan Duncan, an ear, nose and throat specialist on the medical staff at Maury Regional Medical Center, will discuss new technologies in sinus surgery including balloon sinuplasty, which gently restructures and opens narrow sinus passageways, restoring normal drainage and function. In addition, he will address emerging treatments for inhalant and food allergies.

The public is encouraged to attend this free informative program. For more information, call 540.4155.
