MAURY REGIONAL ANNOUNCES APRIL SMOKING CESSATION CLASSES
COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Maury Regional Medical Center offers a group smoking cessation program to help those who want to quit smoking. The program will consist of a series of four classes held each Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at the medical center. Classes for April are as follows:
- April 5 – Starting Out & Removing Roadblocks
- April 12 – Getting Ready to Quit
- April 19 – Staying Off Cigarettes
- April 26 – Questions and Celebrations
All instructors are former smokers and health professionals. Group interaction will be promoted in an effort to develop a support network among those with the same goal—to stop smoking. Individuals may join at any time and attend as many sessions as they like. Participants are required to purchase a $10 class guide with exercises for each class topic.
