MAURY REGIONAL CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR RESOLUTION TO STOP SMOKING

COLUMBIA, Tenn.— If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to stop smoking, Maury Regional Medical Center can help. Maury Regional offers a group smoking cessation program that consists of a series of four classes held each Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at the medical center. Classes for January are as follows:

  • January 4 – Starting Out & Removing Roadblocks
  • January 11– Getting Ready to Quit
  • January 18– Staying Off Cigarettes
  • January 25– Questions and Celebrations

All instructors are former smokers and health professionals. Group interaction will be promoted in an effort to develop a support network among those with the same goal—to stop smoking. Individuals may join at any time and attend as many sessions as they like. Participants are required to purchase a $10 class guide with exercises for each class topic.
