MAURY REGIONAL ANNOUNCES JULY SMOKING CESSATION CLASSES

COLUMBIA, Tenn.— Maury Regional Medical Center offers a group smoking cessation program to help those who want to quit smoking. The program will consist of a series of three classes held each Monday beginning July 12 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the First Floor Conference Room at the medical center. Classes for July are as follows:

• July 12 - Starting Out & Removing Roadblocks
• July 19 - Getting Ready to Quit
• July 26 - Staying Off Cigarettes

All instructors are former smokers and health professionals who understand the challenges that come with breaking this habit. Group interaction will be promoted in an effort to develop a support network among those with the same goal—to stop smoking. Participants are required to purchase a $10 class guide with exercises for each class topic.
