Travel Medicine Clinic at Maury Regional helps ensure safe health abroad

COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Anyone planning a trip abroad can find a convenient one-stop location for all of their required vaccinations at the new Travel Medicine Clinic at Maury Regional Medical Center.

“International travel, whether for business, a mission trip or a vacation, requires by law that you take the necessary steps to protect your health and that of others,” said Medical Director Charles Ball, M.D. “Our specially trained nurse practitioner is here to help you determine which vaccinations are required for your destination and administer them.”

The Travel Medicine Clinic is open 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To schedule a vaccination appointment, a travel questionnaire must be completed. This questionnaire as well as detailed information about the vaccines available can be found at mauryregional.com. Once the questionnaire is received by the clinic, it will be reviewed by the nurse practitioner who will schedule an appointment.
