Maury Regional Women's Center offers free luncheon

                                                                                                       

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – The Maury Regional Women’s Center will host a free Women Helping Women luncheon program on Wednesday, February 20, at noon, in the Auxiliary Conference Room at Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC).

Two members of the MRMC medical staff—Dr. Mark A. Cobb and Dr. Kevin M. Maquiling—will be the guest speakers.

Dr. Cobb, a specialist in neurological surgery, will provide an overview of the field of neurosurgery. He will discuss the types of neurosurgical procedures that are now available at MRMC, including procedures to treat tumors and issues related to the back and spine.

Heart attack is the leading cause of death among women. At the upcoming seminar, Dr. Maquiling, an interventional cardiologist, will discuss the treatment of heart disease. He will address the signs and symptoms of a heart attack, including signs that can be unique for women.
