Entries accepted for golf tournament hosted by Wayne Medical Center

                                                   

WAYNESBORO, Tenn. – Wayne Medical Center will host a four-person golf scramble on Saturday, September 21, at the Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course. The event will be a fundraiser for the Wayne Medical Center Fund of the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation.

Entries are now being accepted for the tournament, with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The entry fee is $200 per four-person team. Mulligans will be available for $5 each, with a limit of two per player. Hole sponsorships are also available for $50.

Prizes will be awarded in each flight and there will be prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive. In addition, there will be a hole-in-one grand prize of $10,000 as well as a variety of door prizes. Lunch will be provided.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wayne Medical Center Fund of the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Wayne Medical Center fund was established to fund projects, programs and services for the Wayne County area. The fund provides assistance with medication and transportation for patients in need, employee assistance needs due to financial crisis or for continued education as well as facility and equipment improvements.
