WAYNE MEDICAL CENTER SPONSORS FREE COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR

WAYNESBORO, Tenn. —Wayne Medical Center (WMC) will host the third annual community health fair on Saturday, October 24 at the National Guard Armory, located at 106 Industrial Drive, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All community members are encouraged to attend this free event.

The health fair will feature free health screenings, health and wellness information, kids activities, free food and drink, and door prizes. Screenings will include:

• Cholesterol and glucose screening (participants must be fasting)
• Blood pressure checks
• Bone density testing
• Eye exam
• Hearing screening
• Nutrition body mass index (BMI)
• Oxygen saturation
• Pulmonary function testing

Every booth will be giving away a door prize. Among the prizes are a PSA test, mammogram, fitness center membership, electrocardiograph and many others.
