WMC UPDATES LOGO

WAYNESBORO, Tenn.—Effective October 2008, Wayne Medical Center (WMC) will adopt a new logo. This change correlates with Maury Regional Hospital, which operates WMC, changing its name to Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) and adopting a new logo.

“As our facility and technologies have evolved over time, so will our logo. Over the past several years, Wayne Medical Center has renovated patient rooms; acquired a new CT scanner, 4-D ultrasound and bone density scanner; recruited new physicians and much more. To complement these advancements, we have adopted a fresh and modern logo,” said Mike Sears, CEO of WMC.

Maury Regional Medical Center and its four outlying facilities will adopt the new logo, utilizing a consistent mark that will accompany the facility name. In addition, the Lewis Ambulatory Care Center will now be named Lewis Health Center and the Spring Hill Medical Building will now be named Maury Regional Spring Hill.

“While making a complete transition will take some time for Maury Regional Medical Center and our four affiliate facilities, the public will begin seeing the new logo in our marketing materials. The change to our business communications, such as billing, is anticipated to be complete by the first of the year,” said Robert Otwell, CEO of MRMC.
