Whitney joins Maury Regional medical staff

COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Donna C. Whitney, M.D., a specialist in neonatology, has joined the medical staff of Maury Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Whitney received her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. She completed both her internship and residency in pediatrics at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and completed a fellowship in neonatology at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Whitney is board certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine.

Maury Regional Medical Center provides neonatal intensive care services through an agreement with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The neonatology physicians and neonatal nurse practitioners are provided by Vanderbilt and are complimented by Maury Regional Medical Center registered nurses and respiratory therapists who have extensive training in treating neonatal patients.
