Columbia, Tenn. - Choose Your Life Program: Maury Regional Hospital and the Maury County YMCA have joined together to offer a 12-week program focused on the prevention and education of anyone diagnosed or at risk for type 2 diabetes. Meetings will take place every Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Maury County YMCA. Cost is $40 for YMCA members and $50 for non-YMCA members. Class size is limited. Two Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Programs will be presented by Maury Regional Hospital in the hospital's Auxiliary Conference Room. The first class will be from 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.; and the second class from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jackie Miles, clinical educator at MRH, will lead the program. This is not a certification course; however, participants will learn the basics in adult, child and infant CPR, and how to operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) machine. Maury Regional Healthcare Foundation Fine Art Show & Sale - Local and regional artists will be exhibiting original works of art to benefit the Special Needs Fund on August 8-9.
