The Coping with Cancer Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. in the MRMC Cancer Center at the Columbia Mall. The mission of the group is to support those who are diagnosed with cancer, as well as their friends and family, and to provide an opportunity to discuss the challenges, frustrations, fears and feelings associated with cancer. The Alzheimer's Support Group will meet at noon in the Senior Life Solutions activity area located in Suite 101 of the Marshall Medical Center Medical Office Building at 1090 North Ellington Parkway in Lewisburg. The MilkyWay Moms Breastfeeding Group meets monthly on the second Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and on the fourth Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Maury Regional Annex located at 1223 Trotwood Avenue (next to McDonald’s). This group is for new and expectant mothers to find encouragement from veteran mothers who understand the challenges that breastfeeding can present.
