Expectant Parent Education Classes

Babies may not come with instruction books, but it’s good to know there’s plenty of help available as you learn about your new baby. Our free classes are led by trained professional staff who use seminars, class discussions, slides and video to help new parents get the skills they need to get started, and to help veteran parents brush up. Maury Regional Medical Center offers expectant parent classes all year long. A schedule of classes is listed below. All classes are free. Seating is limited, so registration is required. Online registration is available. If you prefer to print the form, you'll need Adobe Reader, a free program available here.

Infant Car Seat Inspection Station

Car crashes are a leading killer of children 1 to 12 years old in the United States. The best way to protect them in the car is to put them in the right seat, at the right time and use it the right way. There are so many car seat types and models, how do you know which one is right for your child? Certified inspectors will check your car seat installation and provide information on car seat safety. Locations and times will be announced in the local media and on the Calendar of Events on this Web site.
