Expectant Parent Classes

Babies may not come with instruction books, but it’s good to know there’s plenty of help available as you learn about your new baby. Our classes are led by trained professional staff who use seminars, class discussions, slides and video to help new parents get the skills they need to get started, and to help veteran parents brush up. Maury Regional Medical Center offers expectant parent classes all year long. A schedule of classes is listed below. On-line registration is availalbe. If you prefer to print the form, you'll need Adobe Reader, a free program available here.

Just for Siblings

New brothers and sisters are created when your next baby is born. We teach children about what their new baby brother or sister will look like, explain ways that they can be helpful to their parents when the baby arrives, and foster and reinforce their feelings of self-worth. In addition, children are able to tour labor and delivery, post partum and nursery areas. These Saturday classes are held at 9 a.m.
