In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lewis Health Center in Hohenwald will offer walk-in mammography screenings Oct. 5 and 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. to provide convenient access for women seeking their annual mammogram.
Most insurance plans cover the cost of an annual screening mammogram. For those who qualify and are uninsured, the Tennessee Department of Health will also be available at this time to offer free mammography screenings through the Tennessee Breast and Cervical Screening Program.
Those who prefer to schedule their mammograms at a different time may also do so by calling 931.380.4044 or 931.796.6222. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
