2019 PALS Provider Course


This is a 2-day course. This course is intended for someone whose PALS certification is expired or a participant who is new to assisting in the management of pediatric emergency/code situations.

The PALS course focuses on the recognition and management of:

  • Respiratory distress or failure
  • Compensated and hypotensive shock
  • The child with a life-threatening bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, or cardiac arrest
  • Basic life support, bag-valve-mask ventilation, and advanced airway management
  • Vascular access, fluid therapy, and medications
  • Post arrest stabilization and transport

CANCELlATION & REFUNDS

The requirements for a full refund are:

  • Notice of cancellation at least seven days prior to the class.
  • Course materials are returned prior to the course (certified mail or in person).
  • Course materials must be in excellent condition.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR FAILURE TO PASS THE CLASS

Advance registration is required. The registration deadline is two weeks prior to the scheduled course.
