Video: Which sleep position is best?

Sleeping in different positions may make some medical conditions better (or worse). Watch this video to learn more about the benefits of different sleeping positions.

Side Sleeping

Most people sleep on their side. It's a good position for:

  • Heartburn
  • Acid Reflux
  • Heart Conditions
  • Pregnancy

Back Sleeping

Sleeping on your back may help with:

  • Spine Alignment
  • Back & Neck Pain
  • Allergies
  • Nasal Congestion

Back and side sleepers should sleep with a pillow under or between the knees to relieve joint pressure.

Stomach Sleeping

Stomach sleeping may improve:

  • Sleep Apnea
  • Snoring

This position can put a lot of pressure on muscles and joints, however.

Remember, it's most important to sleep in a comfortable position so you get the best sleep possible. A good night's sleep is good for your health. Sleep well!
