Breast Reduction General Information

Patients with large, sagging breasts suffer a variety of symptoms related to the increased weight and strain. These symptoms can include back and neck pain, rashes in the fold of the breast, migraines, shoulder grooves, a hunched posture and poor cosmetic appearance of the breast tissue, nipples and areola.

Breast reduction surgery is a powerful and very successful technique involving the surgical removal of excess breast tissue and skin causing these complaints. Satisfaction rates with this complex procedure are very high with studies reporting numbers as high as 95%. The resolution of pain can often be experienced immediately after surgery, although not a guarantee.

The response we most often hear from our breast reduction patients is “I should have done this sooner!”
