Breast reduction

A breast reduction is a life-changing procedure for patients with pain or other concerns relating to the size and/or location of their breasts.

Patients with large, sagging breasts can often experience a variety of symptoms related to the increased weight and strain, including:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Rashes in the fold of the breast
  • Migraines
  • Shoulder grooves
  • Hunched posture
  • Poor cosmetic appearance of the breast tissue, nipples and/or areola

For these patients, breast reduction surgery is a powerful and very successful technique involving the surgical removal of the excess breast tissue and skin causing these complaints.

This procedure simultaneously treats pain and improves the appearance of a patient's breasts with a satisfaction rate as high as 95%, according to many studies. The resolution of pain can often be experienced immediately after surgery, although not a guarantee.

The response we most often hear from our breast reduction patients is, “I should have done this sooner!”
