Media Inquiries


The Marketing and Communications Department manages media inquiries for all facilities in the system, including Maury Regional Medical Center, Lewis Health Center, Marshall Medical Center, Wayne Medical Center and Maury Regional Medical Group. We ask that all members of the media follow the guidelines below:

  • Contact the Marketing and Communications Department directly for any patient inquiry or requests to interview a patient, employee, volunteer or physician.
  • Patients, families, employees, volunteers and physicians must give written permission by signing a Maury Regional Health release form prior to being photographed, interviewed or filmed.
  • Onsite interviews must be coordinated in advance, when feasible, to allow time to schedule the appropriate staff, patients and families.
  • All reporters and photographers/videographers must be escorted by a Marketing and Communications Department staff member.

Maury Regional Health physicians and employees have expertise in a variety of health care fields. To request an interview with a member of the medical staff or an employee in a specific specialty, please contact the Marketing and Communications Department.

If you have an immediate deadline after business hours and on weekends, please call 931.381.1111, press zero and ask the operator to contact the marketing director. 

The Marketing and Communications Department works diligently to respond to media inquiries quickly; however, in the event that a community crisis generates excessive volumes of media inquiries, you should complete the request form below. We will respond as soon as possible in accordance with organizational policies and federal privacy laws.
