Doctors honored through Maury Regional Health Care Foundation

03.10.2017

COLUMBIA, TN – Physicians touch the lives of patients and their families on a daily basis by improving quality of life, easing pain and comforting families during difficult moments. On March 30, hospitals and communities throughout the country will observe National Doctors’ Day to honor these physicians.

The Maury Regional Health Care Foundation is offering individuals the opportunity to honor a Maury Regional Health physician who has made a difference in his or her life through a donation that impacts the life of another patient.

According to Foundation Executive Director Joe Kilgore, individuals may make a donation, provide a message about why they are honoring the physician and select a fund for their donation. The physician will receive a letter from the Foundation informing him/her that they have been honored and share comments from the donor about why he/she chose to honor the physician.

Maury Regional Health has more than 200 physicians serving communities throughout southern Middle Tennessee through the facilities of Maury Regional Medical Center, Marshall Medical Center, Wayne Medical Center, Lewis Health Center and Family Health Group practices. More than $1.6 million in programs and services have been funded by the Foundation since it was established in 2006. The Foundation supports a wide variety of projects in the eight-county region of Middle Tennessee. Administrative expenses are funded by the medical center, allowing all donations to go directly into serving the community. To make a donation or learn more, visit MauryRegional.com/Foundation.
