COLUMBIA, Tenn. — The side effects of cancer treatment often have an impact on one’s appearance as well as their health. The Feeling Fabulous program at Maury Regional Health brings together stylists, nutritionists and exercise specialists to help women facing cancer look and feel their best during this difficult time. The next program is scheduled on Monday, September 10 at noon in the Maury Regional Cancer Center located at 808 South James Campbell Boulevard in Columbia.
Funded by the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation, this free program helps women with cancer by providing information about how to address the changes their bodies experience as a result of cancer treatment. Participants are provided information about:
- Makeup techniques for hair loss and skin changes (includes a free makeup kit)
- Skin and nail care
- Wigs and other head coverings
- Nutritional needs
- Exercise to improve strength and balance
