Lewis Health Center offers free sports physicals for area students on May 1 and 3

HOHENWALD, Tenn. — Lewis Health Center will partner with the Lewis County School System to offer free sports physicals for middle and high school students in early May.

High School Screenings

Physicals for high school athletes will be offered on Wednesday, May 1, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Lewis County High School. These screenings are for students who are entering grades nine through twelve at Lewis County High School.

Middle School Screenings

Physicals for middle school students will be offered on Friday, May 3, from 8:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. These screenings are for students entering grades six through eight in Lewis County. Middle school screenings will be held at Lewis County Middle School.

Participants are asked to arrive no later than 2:45 p.m. on the screening day for their age category.

Lewis Health Center primary care providers, physical therapists and nurses will conduct the free screenings. Advance registration is not required. For more information about the upcoming screenings, call Lewis Health Center Physical Therapy at 931.796.6216.
