Maury Regional announces new board appointments

COLUMBIA, TN – The Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) Board of Trustees recently announced appointments to the board of trustees and advisory board.

Houston Parks was reappointed to serve as chair of the board of trustees. Parks is an attorney in private practice with the law firm of Parks, Bryant and Snyder, PLLC, and has served on the board since 2009. He will serve his third term as chair in 2020.

Board member Rodney Poling, M.D., was reappointed to serve a third term as vice chair. Dr. Poling has served on the board since 2016 and is a past member of the advisory board. He joined the MRMC medical staff in 1990 and is board certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry.

In addition, Greg Martin and Drew Parker were reappointed to the advisory board.

Martin is a local developer with more than 27 years of experience and is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He will serve on the Audit and Compliance Committee and the Planning and Facilities Committee.

Parker is a financial advisor and vice president of wealth management at The Parker Group. He has 18 years of experience in finance and is a graduate of Auburn University. He will serve on the Finance, Budget and Pension Committee.

Members whose terms have expired on the advisory board are Brian Williams, president, and Dawn Moore, senior personal trust officer, both with First Farmers and Merchants Bank.
