Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg and Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro provide hospital-based rehabilitation services for individuals transitioning to home following a hospital stay due to illness, injury or surgery. Our services include nursing care, along with daily physical therapy and occupational therapy, which is performed by the same experienced team that provides rehabilitation services in our outpatient centers. Your stay in transitional care — sometimes referred to as swing bed care — typically prepares you to return to the comfort of your home in 20 days or less.
