YOUR ADMISSION AT wayne MEDICAL CENTER

Wayne Medical Center offers inpatient services for patients whose physician determines that hospitalization is necessary for treatment. Our 25-bed facility offers both private and semi-private rooms. Every attempt will be made to provide the accommodations you request, based on medical necessity.

We hope to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our patient rooms are equipped with a bathroom, television, phone and visitor seating. Individual controls are provided for each room to adjust the temperature.

Patient rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized by our Environmental Services team, whose members will work to keep your room and bathroom clean throughout your stay.

WHAT TO BRING

Patients may want to bring a few personal items such as pajamas or gowns, a bathrobe, slippers and toiletry items. Please do not bring valuables to your hospital room.

PREPARING TO GO HOME

Our care managers will work with your physician to plan for your discharge from the medical center. During this planning process, our staff will provide information on the options and resources available to you and your family after discharge.

FOLLOWING YOUR STAY

Your feedback and opinions regarding the care you receive are extremely important to us. Wayne Medical Center partners with an independent research firm to conduct patient satisfaction surveys. You may receive a survey in the mail or via email after your visit. Please take a moment to complete this survey so that we can continue to improve. We also value patient feedback shared on our Google listing.
