FAMILY EXPO EVENT TO BE HELD APRIL 26
COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Maury Regional Hospital will present the Southern Tennessee Family Expo at the Columbia Mall on April 26 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Parents and kids of all ages are encouraged to attend this free event, co-sponsored by TRH Health Plans.
The expo will feature vendors offering information on parenting, health and wellness, as well as free giveaways. Children’s activities include free carnival games with prizes just for playing, face painting, a balloon artist, inflatable jumps and much more.
Parents can visit the numerous information booths that include child fingerprinting identification, car seat safety checks, and much more. Attendees are encouraged to register for the four night/five day vacation to the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Maury Regional Hospital will conduct blood pressure checks
and TRH Health Plans will be conducting blood sugar
checks as well as have information on health coverage
for children and adults.
New to the event this year is “Let the Music Play,” a concert to benefit the arts in Maury County Schools. School children are encouraged to compete in vocal, instrumental and spirit competitions. The spirit competition winner will be selected based on the highest percentage of students attending from a school based on total enrollment. The winning school of each of the three competitions will receive a $500 grant to benefit its arts program.
