HARRELSON JOINS MAURY REGIONAL MEDICAL STAFF

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Elizabeth U. Harrelson, M.D., a specialist in neonatology, has joined the medical staff at Maury Regional Medical Center. She is associated with Drs. Victoria DeVito, Melinda Markham and Kimberly Shimer.

Dr. Harrelson received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the Medical Center of Central Georgia/Mercer Medical School in Macon, Georgia. In addition, Dr. Harrelson completed a neonatology fellowship at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She is board certified in pediatrics.

Maury Regional Medical Center provides neonatal intensive care services through an agreement with Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. The neonatology physicians and neonatal nurse practitioners are provided by Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and are complemented by Maury Regional Medical Center registered nurses and respiratory therapists who have extensive training in treating neonatal patients.
