Maury Regional staff physicians to speak at February Healthy Hearts meeting

 

COLUMBIA, TN. - On February 27 at 6 p.m., the public will have a unique opportunity to ask questions of two physicians on the medical staff of Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC). Dr. Charles Ball, a family medicine specialist associated with Family Health Group and Dr. Michael Kelley, a cardiologist with Vanderbilt Heart-Columbia will be the guest presenters at Healthy Hearts Education Group’s first meeting of 2014.

 “This will certainly be a wonderful opportunity to talk with two of the most respected physicians in the region,” said Healthy Hearts coordinator Lisa Chambers. “We are fortunate to have them on the medical staff of Maury Regional Medical Center and to have them share their time with us at Healthy Hearts on February 27. I encourage anyone interested in learning more about heart healthy habits to join us at this free meeting.”

The Healthy Hearts Education Group meets quarterly at 6 p.m. on the fourth Thursdays of February, May, August and November in the MRMC Annex at 1223 1/2 Trotwood Avenue in Columbia. All Healthy Hearts meetings are free and open to the public. Anyone interested in learning more about maintaining good heart health is welcome to attend these meetings.
