MAURY REGIONAL HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION DIRECTOR APPOINTED

COLUMBIA, Tenn.— Joe Kilgore has been appointed executive director of the Maury Regional Healthcare Foundation, according to Eslick Daniel, M.D., foundation chairman.

“We are looking forward to working with Joe as he continues to build strong relationships within the community to benefit the foundation in expanding health care services and community outreach programs,” said Dr. Daniel.

Kilgore, a native of Jasper, Tennessee, has been actively involved in the Columbia Main Street program and served as its chairman of the board of directors. He is a graduate of Leadership Maury and has worked with several local programs such as Keep Maury Beautiful and Habitat for Humanity.

“Joe’s experience and active involvement within our community make him perfect for this position. We welcome him to the medical center and look forward to his work with the foundation,” said Robert Otwell, CEO of Maury Regional Medical Center.

Prior to joining the medical center staff, he owned The Kilgore Collection, a retail store in downtown Columbia. Kilgore has also worked as the marketing manager and director of marketing at the Chattanooga Choo Choo, advertising manager at the Tennessee Aquarium, director of sales at the Radisson Reed House Hotel and the director of convention sales at the Chattanooga Area Conventions and Visitors Bureau. Kilgore earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tennessee Technological University.
