JOEL KNICKERBOCKER APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY AT WAYNE MEDICAL CENTER

WAYNESBORO, Tenn. – Joel Knickerbocker has been appointed director of physical therapy at Wayne Medical Center (WMC). Prior to coming to WMC, Knickerbocker ran a private practice in physical therapy in Florida for more than 18 years. Knickerbocker has more than 28 years of experience in the physical therapy field. He has a bachelor’s de­gree in physical therapy from Ithaca College in New York.

The Physical Therapy Department at WMC offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient therapy programs for individuals who have been referred by a physician. Services include general physical therapy, industrial rehabilitation and worksite evaluations, neurological rehabilitation (stroke or head injury patients), orthopedic rehabilitation, spine rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, and wound care.
