HOHENWALD, Tenn. – The Lewis Health Center is hosting a health fair on September 26, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., in the community building at Lewis County Park.

The event will feature more than 30 booths offering free information and services, according to Dr. Dustin Flowers, director. Screenings and wellness tests will include:

  • Cholesterol/glucose screening (must be fasting)
  • Body fat analysis (must be fasting)
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Dental screening
  • Hearing screening
  • Oxygen saturation
  • Body mass index (BMI)
  • Posture screening
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Skin cancer screening
  • Bone density testing


In addition, there will be informational booths on women’s health, nutrition, insurance, emergency response agencies, school health, as well as LifeFlight and much more. Children will be able to enjoy a variety of games and activities and visit with Health E. Hound.
