LACC UPDATES NAME AND LOGO

HOHENWALD, Tenn.—Effective October 2008, Lewis Ambulatory Care Center will become known as Lewis Health Center (LHC). The name change correlates with LHC’s flagship facility, Maury Regional Hospital, now being known as Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC). The name changes were approved by the board of trustees in August and were supported by the Maury County Commission in September.

“The Lewis facility meets more than just the community’s urgent care needs. Lewis Health Center provides wellness services such as immunizations and school physicals; a multitude of physical therapy rehabilitation programs; the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and more. This name change better reflects all that our facility has to offer,” said Dustin Flowers, DPT, director of LHC.

In addition to the name changes, all outlying MRMC facilities will adopt the new logo, utilizing a consistent mark that will accompany the facility name.

“While making a complete transition will take some time for Maury Regional Medical Center and our four affiliate facilities, the public will begin seeing the new logo in our marketing materials. The change to our business communications, such as billing, is anticipated to be complete by the first of the year,” said Robert Otwell, CEO of MRMC.
