Marshall Medical Center to host free "Healthy Eating" seminar at MCHS

                                                                                                     

LEWISBURG, Tenn. – Marshall Medical Center (MMC) continues a series of free diabetes-related seminars with a program at Marshall County High School on Tuesday, May 14. The seminar, titled “Healthy Eating,” will begin at 6 p.m. in the Family and Consumer Sciences classroom at the school.

A healthy, well-balanced diet is important for everyone, including those with diabetes. At the upcoming seminar, Terri Orr, an extension agent with UT Extension, will provide suggestions for healthy eating. Orr will also demonstrate how to prepare a healthy recipe.
