MARSHALL MEDICAL CENTER PROVIDES FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS

LEWISBURG, Tenn. — Marshall Medical Center will provide school sports physicals to high school athletes in Marshall County as a free public service. The event will take place Thursday, May 21 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Marshall County High School.

“We are excited to provide this free service to our community for the second year in a row. Last year, hundreds of student athletes came out to receive their physicals, which are required by the schools,” said CEO Phyllis Brown.

Student athletes grades 10 through 12 of Cornersville, Forrest and Marshall County high schools are able to attend and receive a free physical. Information on other services provided by Marshall Medical Center will also be available.

Physicians, physical therapists and nurses will be present to conduct the physicals at Marshall County High School. Physicals will include blood pressure, height and weight, strength and range of motion screenings. Vision screenings will be provided by Advanced Eye Care.
