FAMILY EXPO EVENT TO BE HELD MAY 6

Maury Regional Hospital and GM-Spring Hill Manufacturing are joining together to sponsor a Family Expo event on Saturday, May 6.  Parents and kids of all ages are encouraged to attend the event which will be held from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Columbia Mall.

The expo will feature award-winning, national kids entertainment as well as local entertainment from area schools.  There will be over 40 exhibitors and merchants featuring parenting information, services and products, games, giveaways and much more.

“We’re pleased to offer this event locally to parents and their children and excited about the lineup of entertainment and activities that are planned,” stated Cindy Fox, Director of Community Relations at Maury Regional.  “It should be a fun and educational day for parents and their children.”

At 1 p.m., an “Ask the Doctor” panel is scheduled with five physicians from the medical staff at Maury Regional Hospital.  “As people register for the event, they will have the opportunity to submit questions for the panel of physicians to answer,” Fox stated.

Car seat safety checks will be offered by the Tennessee Highway Patrol during the event.  Many of the new GM vehicles will also be on display.  There will also be a grand prize drawing – a one-week stay at Panama City Beach, Florida, for a family of four.
